On Sunday, Keely continued our Advent series, “What Great Love” with a look at the third theme of Advent: Joy. Speaking from Luke 2:8–11 and 1 John 2:12-14 (NLT), she shared how our joy is not fleeting or fragile, but a gift grounded in God's grace to us. We have joy because we know God, we are victorious, and we have been saved.

Which of the reasons for rejoicing from 1 John 2 stands out most to you: that your sins are forgiven, that you know God, or that you are victorious?
