Go In Love: Beloved
Sermon Recap
As we learn to go in love, we must learn our identity as God’s beloved. To do this we have to identify lies we are beliving about our identity and replace them with the truth of God’s love. An awe inspiring love that is freely given and that calls us children of God.

See It
1 John 3:1 begins with the word See (which also translates to behold, consider, think about, look at). Why is it important to behold the love God has for us?
In Genesis we see that our original identity was made in God’s image. What does this mean to you?
Both 1 John 3:1-2 and Romans 8:16-17 speak about us being God’s children and about being coheirs with Christ. What do these verses say about your identity?
Be It
In Genesis, after we were made in God’s image, we believed a lie about God’s truth and this became our identity. What lies are you believing about your identity? What defines your worth?
What might you need to surrender to believe the truth that you are a beloved child of God?
What truth does God want you to declare over the lie(s) you are believing?
